¿Se considera a sí mismo el Presidente Joe Biden rey de Europa, con una clase de eminente (o es “inminente”) dominio sobre multi-billonarios proyectos en dólares como la línea de gas natural ruso-alemana Nord Stream 2? Eso es ciertamente como pareció esta semana en la conferencia de prensa conjunta con el canciller alemán de visita Olaf Scholz. El comportamiento real de Biden fue discutido ayer en La Hora Crítica, como también las varias visitas de altos líderes europeos en días recientes; Macron a Moscú, como también Scholz a Washington.
El desafortunado desliz, …aseverado inminente – lo siento, quería decir eminente – dominio sobre Nord Stream 2. El pobre canciller Scholz estaba de pie justo allí, sin duda deseando que él pudiera ocultarse tras su podio hasta la siguiente pregunta. Él se quedó, por supuesto, y en el proceso se probó a sí mismo enteramente cumplido en la evasividad y el circumloquio.
